Tanya is former creative landscape designer from Southern California. The inspirational idea to create Winners Circle Shoes came from a horse shoe Steve brought home to Tanya from Golden Gate Fields track.
She created a memento and the idea to put together keepsake framed shoes came naturally.

Our Story

 

Winners Circle Shoes was founded by Steve Melen and Tanya Brandt, who grew up together in the town of Saratoga, California. After beating stomach cancer, Steve felt lucky to be alive and always dreamed of owning a race horse. He purchased Killer Graces and went onto win 3 Stakes Races at Hollywood Park including the Grade 1 Hollywood Starlet.

Being fortunate to win at the track and beating cancer, Steve feels that luck has played a big part in his life. Steve is a Board Member of the Gastric Cancer Foundation and has survived cancer for the last 9 years.
